Divinis

Divinis is one of the Prague restaurants that can boast a Michelin Bib gourmand award for the quality of its menu and value for money. Located in an alleyway leading to the Old Town Square, it specialises in Mediterranean cuisine, particularly Italian, which brings out the natural flavours of the ingredients. The signature of the owner, Zdeňek Pohlreich, can be seen in the choice of star products, notably the veal cheek, prepared with marsala and served with a pan-fried spinach, sultanas and pine nuts. You can also try them in combination with potato gnocchi and Sardinian pecorino cheese. At lunchtime, Divinis is often the venue for business lunches; in the evening, it's the ideal place for a small party or a romantic dinner. The service is attentive and the dishes bear the mark of both great expertise and creativity in the preparation of the recipes. The wine list is also worth a look.
