The Golden Star Hotel is an integral part of the picturesque landscape of Nerudova Street in the Lesser Town district. In the year 2000, it underwent a complete reconstruction. This Baroque building, located right below the Prague Castle, is easily recognizable by its pale green facade.
Each of the hotel’s 27 rooms offers a magnificent panoramic view of a part of the city: the rooftops of the Lesser Town or the vineyards of Petřín Hill. Every side offers a veritable feast for the eyes.
The interior of the hotel merges historical elements with modern ones; a 270-year-old wooden staircase (watch out for the irregular steps!) and stone door-ways, yet the rooms are furnished with contemporary designer furniture.
In the summer, the hotel’s outdoor terrace is ideally situated and suited for a well-deserved sunny break after a visit to the Prague Castle. Enjoy a cold beer and traditional Czech cuisine.
