La Casa Blů

Here, don't look for haute cuisine: it's rustic, local Latin American dishes that you'll be served, but prepared by expert hands and served by staff who, while probably untrained, are inclined to hand out smiles and spread good cheer. Casa Blů is a cosmopolitan establishment located near the convent of St Agnes of Bohemia, whose name is linked to the history of Czech cinema: it was here that the cult film Samotáři (Zelenka, 2000) was shot. Before you start sampling the rums and tequilas on the menu, take a look at the menu, which includes several kinds of burritos, quesadillas and tacos, all available with meat (South American beef) or vegetarian versions. Meat lovers will love the fajitas, or pan-fried grilled meat, the spicy chilli con carne or the Caribbean-style pork: grilled and served with bean paste, manioc and rice. Those with a sweet tooth will be delighted with crème caramel.
