Situated on the Vltava riverbank, the Náplavka farmer’s market has become increasingly popular in Prague. The market is held from morning to mid-afternoon on Saturdays, almost all year round. Many locals come every week to pick up a wide selection of fruit, vegetables, and many other groceries such as cakes, pastries, bread, and smoked meats. Products are locally sourced or organic or both. Náplavka offers beautiful views across the water to Prague Castle and Petřín Hill. And for children, a visit offers a chance to get close to the numerous resident swans. You can also enjoy a snack or quick lunch and fresh coffee, from one of several stalls. Non-food products are also sold at Náplavka and include ceramics and baskets.
