Main description
In the heart of old Prague, St. Giles Church stands as an exceptional venue for classical music. Founded in the 13th century, it combines Gothic exterior architecture with a stunning Baroque interior.
One of its treasures: a majestic organ dating back to 1733, with 50 registers, 3 manuals, and 3,500 pipes, renowned for its unmatched acoustics.
This concert offers a musical journey blending virtuosity and emotion. Musicians and singers from the small Dvořák Symphony Orchestra — drawn from top Czech ensembles such as the Prague Symphony Orchestra, the State Opera ensemble, and the National Theatre ensemble — perform the most celebrated works of classical music in a setting that combines history, aesthetics, and immersion.
