You’ll find this excellent though relatively little-known brewery (At The Three Roses) in the centre of Prague. If you’re looking for a pub where you can combine a delicious meal and excellent beer, U Tří růží should be high on your list.
Authentic Czech beer has been served at U Tří růží, housed in a 15th-century building, since 2012, and accompanies traditional dishes from the chef, Martin Procházka. He previously worked at the Alcron restaurant, which he helped obtain a Michelin star. The quality of the meals served at the brewery cannot be faulted. When choosing from the beer varieties on offer, don’t miss the local Amber Ale.
U Tří růží manages to combine an informal Czech pub style with the highest quality. The brewery offers only the best Czech fare but avoids the negative aspects of pubs, such as rude bar staff or shabby interiors.
