Vinograf

This small wine bar has won several awards at the Czech Bar Awards, including first place in 2014. The kitchen is run by chef Milan Hořejš, and they'll recommend the best wine pairing to go with his creations. If you're having goose rillettes, the sommelier will recommend a Crémant de Bourgogne or a Blanc d'Anjou. To go with a risotto with porcini mushrooms and truffle oil, a glass of white from the Dobrá vinice vineyard. In addition to the classic pairings, the sommelier is ready to invent new ones to suit your personal tastes. And if you're looking for a quiet evening away from the big feasts, simply choose from the rich range of cheeses, including classics such as chèvre cendré from France, pecorino from Tuscany and edelpilz from Austria, as well as Czech cheeses such as Brníčko made from sheep's milk from the Jeseníky Mountains or Gran Moravia, a local variant of Parmesan. Of course, you can also ask for meat specialties such as Tyrolean bacon, dry mountain sausage, Basque ham or South Bohemian Bosanka lamb sausage.
