Main description
Every day of the year, little boats “Vodouch” depart from Charles Bridge at regular intervals. They are operated by the Pražské Benátky (Prague Venice) company and typically feature dark wood interiors and windows allowing views from all sides.
A warm welcome from the Captain and a small snack awaits you on board – a hot drink in the winter and a refreshing ice cream in the summer. During the 45-minute sail, you’ll hear an engaging audio-commentary about Prague’s history and legends, with some intriguing anecdotes.
You can also take in wonderful views of the Prague waterfront, the historic centre up to Prague Castle, standing on a rocky outcrop. And you’ll also see the shallow canal known as Čertovka, which is inaccessible to the larger vessels plying the waters of the River Vltava. Magical Kampa Island is literally at your fingertips at Čertovka, just as if you were just passing through the canals of Venice.
